Description
The Metis* cloud-connected skin analysis system is the only facial skin analyzer on the market that is connected to the ‘cloud’, which allows for accurate visualization and diagnosis of your client’s skin using over 1 million real cases gathered together from all over the world by facial imaging and AI algorithm.
Use the Metis before any in clinic skin treatments in order to provide clients with the most suitable solutions for their skin based on products and treatments that you offer in your skincare studio, spa or medispa. Allows for accurate tracking and comparison of treatment progress.
The Metis performs 10 analysis, allowing visual inspection of all the layers of the skin for a deep consultation. The cloud connection allows the introduction of your own treatments and skincare range for a personalized assessment.
Metis offers a total of 10 skin analysis modes enabling you to make the most precise facial skin diagnosis in order to effectively plan your client’s skin care treatments:
Natural Light – A soft light is emitted from different directions over the face, evenly lighting up superficial details of the face. It is used to provide a standard and natural picture to use as a base for the rest of the assessment.
Deep Layers – A cross polarized light reduces the direct reflection, enabling the observation of the uneven skin color underneath the epidermis as well as the structure of blood capillaries. This mode highlights the first signs of skin aging.
Surface Lines – The parallel polarized light is used here to reduce the visibility of skin characteristics underneath the epidermis and enhances the surface optical reflection to highlight skin lines and pore structure.
UV Light – A slight amount of harmless UV light is emitted. Cells and tissues naturally convert the invisible light to become fluorescent, turning the skin into a light bulb. It enables the user to observe skin problems hidden underneath the surface of the skin.
Wood Light – The spread of active sebaceous gland and oil, as well as the depth and extent of inflammation around sebaceous glands, can be observed.
Biological Aging – The skin color mode pays special attention to fine differences in skin color and pigmentation to make it easier to recognize the impact of uneven color on age rather than relying on the typical signs of aging such as wrinkles and skin laxity.
Sensitivity – Healthy skin is highlighted in light pink while spots appear in darker pink colour due to their inflammation.
Hyperpigmentation – The spread of melanin can be clearly observed under this mode. It allows the user to determine the types of blemishes present on the skin. It also helps identify whether there is any pigment hidden under the bottom layer of the skin and if previous treatments have been successful in fading skin blemishes.
Grid View – Allows a clear comparison between before and after treatments, so that skin changes can be distinctly measured.
Blemish Forecast – Thanks to the above 9 skin analysis modes, METIS cloud computing can accurately calculate the spread and status of future facial blemishes, making it possible to accurately forecast what the skin will look like without treatment in the next 5 – 10 years.
